I was hauling water and of course the rear was sagging meaning my led cutoff was blinding people. I turned off my headlights and only used fogs when cars were oncoming. Now i did do the bambi mode mod using forscan so i don't remember if you can activate fogs independently without it. turned out to be really useful. I might invest in some auxiliary SAE lights and wire them up to simply be "load lights" that i can angle better and not have to juggle any switches. But regardless using fogs only is something to think about if you're blinding people.

Sounds like you were overloaded.
I cannot say he was not overloaded, but I experience this issue with a few hundred lbs in the bed. I’ve checked the aim of the headlights unloaded and it’s fine and only seem to get flashed by oncoming low riders. With a few hundred lbs or more but still under max (loaded up to go tent camping), I really piss off oncoming traffic.

This year I plan to load up and adjust the height of the headlights. I’ll make a note for each side - “loaded turn right 4.5 turns” as an example.

That's a shame. Truck shouldn't do that if it's within capacity. (Or the headlights aren't adjusted properly from the factory.)

I get flashed pretty often unloaded, my low beams seem pretty high & the high beams light up the trees.
I had to lower my beams as soon as I bought my 21 lariat with leveling kit. High beams were coon hunting.

I can't say my Rangers sags...but I can definitely say I feel the difference in acceleration between having an empty tank of gas and a full one. So I wouldn't imagine it takes much weight to see the difference in the headlight beam.

Simple.....if your Ranger has a sagging rear due to a "load", just make a "dump" run !!!!
Just ask David....he and Soupie make "dump" runs often to clear it's "loads".....

Hmm.. I just adjust the front lights from the front light adjustment knob.

Guess that's ROW only.

I squat 1 and 1/4” with a full load of tools. Makes my headlights evil for others! Too bad Ford didn’t make the cut-off shields adjustable from the cab. Honda did this for the European EP3 projectors… they had a five-position switch.

I suspect the Tremor suspension has more travel, and the initial spring rate is fairly soft. I’m considering lowering the lights with a full load, then see how it effects the beam height when unloaded.

Update to Limits: LOL I got a good deal on 14 Telco equipment batteries (145AH) so if the sun dont shine on my panels for a week, its all good, and drove 300 miles to get them, Well they are 110 Lbs each, so the limit is Not a 3/4 Ton 14X110=1540 In The Bed! they are about two times the size and weight of a marine deep cycle, how do some guys crack their bed going to walmart?
I never doubted this truck once, no squat, no sway and rides like a dream at 75mph, has lots of power ( I was in (S) mode) and I got 17.8 MPG 12 banded against the wall and 2 banded against the tailgate
I even had a shit myself moment LOL Thick Fog I-81 around Cortland there was a Car dead in the middle of the interstate! no time to slow down that kind of weight "safely", you know what went through my head in a split second, if I turn hard Im gonna roll it because my center of gravity sitting high, if I hit him they will find parts of his car in Pennsylvania! Dam-it this truck handles great with 1540 lbs in the bed, not enough body roll to even scare my passenger LOL
all this time I just assumed since the rims are 6 lug it was at least good to 1/2 ton? I never looked in the manual so I have no idea what it was max?
