Small Bass Boat in Bed

years ago my crew and I fished several of the hot rod bass boat billys out of the drink. mostly due to dumb as operators and too much motor on too little boat. the cheap chopper gun fiberglass hulls dont last too long at 70 mph when they slap a bit of chop. slap slap slap - cave lol.

I've been down that road with both in the past. I am happy with my little 10 ft ponder hopper and 55LBS trolling motor now days. Though I don't haul the boat in the bed of my truck, I use a 4x8 Harbor Freight trailer for it.

But as I stated in my earlier reply. these size boats fit just fine in a Ranger with a 5 ft bed and tail gate down.
