I’ll be doing the 2.5” Ford Rangers Lift spacer level soon. I’m wanting to upgrade from the 255/65 my truck came with. I particularly do not want to cut the CB or trim. I would like to run 1” spacers all around. I prefer the larger 275/70 but I’ve heard it’ll rub with the 1” spacers. Am I better off just going with 265/70 to have more room for the spacers?

With a lift and spacers, I don't see a 275/70R17 rubbing. My 3inch lift and spacers (1 inch) can fit 285/70R17 just fine without cutting (though I removed the front bars anyway while I had the bumper off to replace the fog lights).

Your best option, besides looking in the wheel and tire fitment thread, is to go to the "showcase" section and see what other people have the same setup you are going for in their builds.

To my understanding those tire will fit just fine on stock wheels with no spacers. I run the 265/70-17 on my truck and it does well. Also for safety reasons I suggest not using wheel spacers. As for the leveling kit you are using if you are planning to go off road it would be in your beat interest to go with a proper kit and spending the money to do it right the first time.
