I put an appointment in my Google Calendar to remind me ahead of time in the days leading up to the end of the 'promotional rate' - that way I don't forget.
They tried to offer the $6/month yesterday and I held my ground, and got it for $4.99/month (plus fees) after the person on the chat said, 'Let me see what I can find for you'
My brother in law was the one that told me to keep refusing the offers until they come down to $5. Business is business so I get why they make the bigger $$ suggestions.
My wife and I only listen to music so the $5 plan fit our needs.
