That's one of the tents I was looking at but still having a hard time picking a suitable bed cover
and rack system as I want to keep RTT below the top of the truck I thinking.

Which Yakima rack is that?

The overhaul HD, i was torn between this or the outpost.

It is seriously high quality, i feel like I could use it to ride into war with a 50.cal on it. I went with this b.c. on occasion I need to haul canoes, long lumber, and other items that extend over my cab. If that was not the case I would have gotten the Outpost. Both are very easy to take on and off (all things considered) Also these products are VERY universal (unless you have a Tacoma, frontier, or ridge line who will need the adapter) so moving it to your next pick up or re-selling it will be easier then other rack products out there. Also tons of accessories, I have since gotten the side cross bars for to mount Rotopax and other equipment

Finally got some pics of the RTT, unfortunately just in the driveway but got it all opened up as I worked on where I wanted to install my fridge. It is a smittybilt tent and CVT awning mounted to a leer cap with thule rack. Cut some 3/8 plywood for a deck to screw to and places some attachment for the fridge. Next I will be running power into the bed following the guidance from the pinned thread at the top. Ordered the wire/pigtail and trying to decide if I want a socket in the read or if I will mount an anderson plug.

Nice set up. How much wind noise do you get with the tent on top of the shell?

sorry for the slow response. I really dont notice it. I do loose some MPG though. Think it sits far enough back to not be a problem

Have you had any problem with that overhang? I was looking at an RCI rack with a Roofnest Falcon, but the overhand worried me.

Well after 6 months delay due to COVID and shipping issues, the guys at Juniper Overland in Denver got me hooked up. I canā€™t say enough good things about them and Rin over at OK4WD. They made things right and really stepped up.

the AluCab Canopy Camper is the best camper I have ever seen or used. The quality and attention to detail isbeyond expectation. Iā€™m waiting on my Trail Kitchen system to arrive before I post interior pics.
Taking it out to home a couple 14ers this weekend so Iā€™ll post some action shots.
Itā€™s pricey but if youā€™re serious and will use it, you canā€™t go wrong.

Well it fits in a standard garage thankfully! I have air bags out back that raise the back 1in on eibach shocks after adding 20psi, stock leafs, and 32in tires. Itā€™s a hard measurement to be accurate but to top of built in roof rails and solar connector, itā€™s pretty close to 91.5inches.
