Finally got a chance to test some product on the fender of my Shadow Black Lariat. At least one panel of the truck does not look like absolute ?.

I would love to know what the original owner used to wash the truck, a rake? ?

Product Used:
•Adam’s Swirl Killer Pro 12mm Polisher(speed 3-4)
•3.5” Adam’s White Polishing Pads
•Adam’s Polish
•IPA Wipe-down
•Adam’s Ceramic Spray Coating(protection)

If you are new to polishing it’s not too bad once you get the hang of it.
•Use a dual action polisher (rotaries can burn paint very easy in the wrong hands)
•Work in 3x3 sections in a crosshatch pattern, two passes with 50% overlap is what I used; wipe away excess polish
•Wipe down panel with IPA solution,
•Ceramic coat to help prevent future damage!

Shine on! ???

Now I only have 13? More panels to go? ? It will get done eventually..Why did I buy a black truck? ?

Ever wonder what a ceramic coating does to water? It repels it. ?

Ford does a nice job with the black. This pic was after driving 35 miles of highway and a few in the desert.

That's amazing! I have no scratches on my new truck, but that ceramic coating and water repelling is amazing! I assume you're somewhere in Madison county, by your profile name? I'd love to get a ceramic coating on mine!

Hey, winner! ?

Just west of County Line in Limestone.

Adam’s Polishes Graphene Spray Coating is one of the most user friendly on the market. I’m on month 7 on my wife’s un-prepped (No clay, polish, or IPA wipe down) Mazda with it and it still beads like crazy.

Wow, mine has less than 600 miles on it, I drive it 6 miles round trip to work and back home weekly, I've had it exactly a month today and I've washed it 4 times already.... I washed and use a chamois cloth every time and within the next day or 2, it's got dust all over it :(

I love the Shadow Black, but man it sure it a PITA to keep up...

Haha! You're close enough to Madison county then ;) I'm in South Huntsville, closer to the TN River bridge.

I was looking at that Adam's polisher you mentioned, but I'm pretty sure I do not need that, as there are zero scratches on my paint, except for one by my door handle drivers side, that was there when I picked up my truck, it had a whopping 5 miles on it. I figured one of the moronic dealers or delivery guy scratched it...

I've been looking at cleaners, polishes and waxes for a few weeks. I owned a super nice black Fiero GT in the mid 90's and used Meguiar's Ultimate 3 Step Care Kit on it, before a huge car show and it looked amazing, but it took the whole weekend to get it there! I thought about ordering it, but I'll check out what you mentioned above. Before we sold the Miata, we had a guy cut and buff out the new paint and he suggested that I get a ceramic coating on it too. At the time, I didn't have the money for it, but he said it was something like $800 for the little Miata?

Anyway, I definitely want something to repel the water like that! What about water spots after it rains? That's the reason I've washed it every week, because of those damn rain spots....

Compared to bare paint I have noticed less water spots; to be fair it has not been real rainy around here lately.

Do not buy in to any snake oil claims that a product completely prevents water spots; it’s near impossible in reality. The coating does however reduce the surface tension on your paint, thus potentially reducing water spots since the water slides off.

You may want to wait a week; Adam’s is actually introducing a new version of the spray coating with their Black Friday drop.

Got to see the shine in the sunlight this morning. ?

Paint has that perfect “wet” look.

That looks sweet! I watched a bunch of Adam's videos on YouTube last night. First truck payment is due this Friday, so I'll wait until next week to buy some of their products! Maybe I can get a deal on Black Friday?

Should be able to! Usually 25-30% off..

They highlighted the new Advanced Graphene Spray Coating in today’s Facebook live video, claims 1 1/2+ year longevity. Pretty sweet.

If you are on Facebook, their live videos are extremely informative. (Every Wednesday @ 2:00 central)

Not exactly polishing related, but Graphene Ceramic Coating related.

I had always heard through the grapevine of touch-less washes on coated vehicles.

I am here to tell you if your truck is a little dusty, all it takes is some water to get it nice and clean again since coatings have a self cleaning property.

I'll just leave this here for the rest of yall, but @Trash Panda has already seen these pics. I used Adam's Polishing products on my truck over the weekend and their Blue Hand Polish is amazing stuff! This is just one of the pics from Hand Polishing alone.

I too used their Graphene Ceramic Coating, but mine wasn't the spray, mine was this:

It's supposed to last 5-6 years, with random Ceramic Boosts and washing with Graphene Shampoo? But, the sine on this thing is amazing! I'm almost too scared to take it out of the garage, LOL!

I now see why detailing shops charge so much for a Ceramic Coating job! This is not a simple process!
