Chrome Metal Polish Cream
The great 2021 February snowstorm, which covered over 70% of the US, is over.
Salt trucks were out in full force, in Ohio, in trying to de-ice the roadways.
Chrome, which I have very little on my Ranger XL, tends to oxidize to a ugly brown
film coating on chrome metal when road salt (sodium chloride) is present. The best solution,
I found, to de-oxidize chrome is using "BlueMagic" Metal Polish Cream for Chrome, Aluminum and Mag
Wheels. Please note: This is not a vendor endorsement but this chrome metal polish works great.
BTW - I needed to polish my chrome acorn nuts on my running boards to protect from careless
door dingers. At least they will see the highly polished chrome acorn nuts before doing extreme
damage to their own vehicle. ?
See below "before" and "after" pictures.
