Duh, I just realized I don't have black handles, so that might be why I don't get the streaking...
On your Lariat? This is the same as why your got the engine muffler cover on your Lariat and on all the other trim models were missing them. You pay for what you get. I believe the black door handles must be collecting dirt, oil and debris to cause this streaking effect. Cleaning them will eliminate most of this streaking problem. :cool:

Old thread but my 2 cents.

Soupie's a Race Red XL and I have those same streaks. They start showing up after the first rain or two after cleaning. Soupie;s over a year old and gets washed often in the summer, but these still streak. =(

I uses 303 Graphene on the paint and 303 Aerospace Protectant on the handles.

Doesn't seem to matter how well I detail it. I soap cannon it, rinse, dry, etc.

If it's really bugging me, a quick microfiber wipe of denatured alcohol will remove it.

could be worse, could find a penny there one day ...
