I know the seats from other 2019+ rangers will swap. Do the power seats have that same stupid lean to the front when they go up?
Also, does anyone know if similar year explorer seats will swap in with minor work?

I tell ya what I am looking at seats from sparco, recaro etc. As comfortable as these seats are they won't last. I have 40k miles on my truck and the side I slide out is becoming deformed losing firmness. Thought about aftermarket?

f150 seats may be more easy to come by as far as factory take outs or aftermarket. i bet they would fit. might require a modification to mount up to the ranger seat bolt locations.

I anticipate the brackets needing modifications. Do you think they'll fit width wise?

i think it will be tight but still fit. just the single seats though the f150 connected or bench style will not.

PRP makes replacement seats if you want to look into aftermarket options.

Search the forms there is a company who makes blocks to raise the rear of the seat up I believe. They were cheap to. People say it makes the Ranger even more comfortable.

Don't the seats have side airbags in them?

Wouldn't that cause an Airbag light if you went aftermarket or maybe even F150 if the bags aren't compatible?

Just curious because swapping in the modern era can be a lot more work.

It used to be so easy...

There called Seat Jackers by Desert Dose It. They fit under the front seat mounts and can raise the front of the seats 3/8 to 3/4 inch, giving the seat a kind of recline...very comfortable.
I installed a set yesterday....half hour job using 2 sockets and a torx driver.
Much more comfortable driving position...at least for me.

I miss my ST2 seats so bad. I'm almost to the point I'm of getting a pair and "making them fit" just to prove a point.

That's funny, I actually pulled the seats out of my ST2 and replaced them with some Sparco Chrono Roads as the thigh bolsters were waaaay to aggressive for someone with big legs. The sparco's were a lot better in that regard.
