Just read the TSB and that is ghetto AF. But if it works I guess it works, not like I look under my seat.

I have a 21 and I have the wiggly giggly thing also.
My '21 has started to do that also.
The '19 did it as well.
It's a thing, for sure.

So is this TSB document fixing just the clunking noise? Or does this also fix the seat bottom shifting? Mine doesn't make any noise when it shifts.
It fixes the shifting.

Yeah, the tsb makes the seat normal. Still blows my mind that Ford keeps sending them out like this.

I did the shifty seat TSB myself with some part store parts for a few dollars and have had no issues in the months since I've done it just be mind full of how you position the worm clamp as its close to a wire harness

My '21 has recently started to do this sometimes, pretty rarely so far. When it happens, it has been on right hand turns. I don't know why it's so annoying but it certainly is to me, especially on a vehicle with less than 9k miles. Things like this are making me reconsider my 6 year plan for this truck.

I'm guessing the issue is due to either poor fit or insufficient torquing of what looks like the mounting hardware just outboard of the applied fix? But those bolts are inserted from the top side of the seat pan. It is surprising to see such an issue carry on for several years.

The fix is laughable, and I wouldn't feel like much of a certified service tech at an authorized dealership if I was putting this backyard hack on it. You'd think they would have at least sourced a two piece collar with cap screws and a rubber insert or something. Things like that exist already...maybe it's due to tight access restrictions. Time to start looking for a nicer alternative just for kicks now though.

Anyone happen to know what diameter that tubing is?
