The tracker isn’t very accurate. Some other people got their truck after the date, and others before.
You won’t get the window sticker until it’s “in production” which can happen any number of days beforehand. I’ve seen 2 weeks before, 10 days, 6 days (me), and even less.
My window sticker didn't show up on the tracker site until 2 days after the tracking site changed to "in production". It was originally scheduled for 1/28 build but on the window sticker I noticed the blend date of 1/31. Also at the bottom of the sticker is a date of 1/26/2019 and I don't know what that is referring to. Right now the tracking site hasn't updated to any changes w/ my blend date as yesterday.
Does that seem to be a pretty consistent pattern? That the window sticker won't appear until the status changes to in production? The only variable being how long before the build date it happens?
My dealer was the one who told me that my truck had gone into production, before the tracker even changed. I think when you’re 10-14 days away from your build date you can bug your dealer for more info.
First your order must be scheduled, as you can see no one who ordered in January has been scheduled yet. Once you are scheduled, most likely for sometime in April, you'll get your VIN. The blend date comes last, as that is only found on the window sticker, which won't be available until it's "in production".
That probably sounds like the best solution. They have access to info we don't. I will probably periodically check the tracker just to see if it changes, but will start asking my dealer 10-14 days from the build week to see if any changes occur.
