Nah... I dropped $90 at HomeDepot on a set of Milwaukee Step Bits. Worked like a charm. It's still sloppy metal work but it's functional. Are you using a little cutting oil? Might help preserve the bits a little

Please next time just shut off the breaker(s) to the room you are working in…one time I installed a ceiling fan, and only electrocuted myself twice. That is my claim to fame!
Difficultly is moderate for ceiling fans (especially multi speed, with a dimmer for the light, and a switch panel on both entrances to the stupid living room ?.).Yeah I was like "how hard can this be really?!" . Well, I found out.
We all have strengths.. however we also have weaknesses.. shoot the only reason I’m even semi capable on these dang computers and phones now days is because I sit down with my youngest brother (almost 20 years younger) and he helps me learn and re learn the basics once a month or so. And well I make sure his plumbing, electrical, and other household stuff is in good orderYeah I think I was mid 20's then and had more %#@$# than brains. Now I have neither heh
