4am fixes... ?‍
I'm officially Ghetto Trash now. I did what I swore I wouldn't do. I used black electrical tape to cover my inner side shooters. And I did a shit job of it too. I am so ashamed of myself. Now I'll have to go buy all new trashy clothes. The side shooters are 'amplified' by the Amber Lens Covers and that shit was blinding me, and lighting up my hood like a Batman beacon. But,,, the ghetto fix worked.
These new lights are wicked !
I'm not sure if I really want to correct the aim issue. I kinda of like it this way. My left pod aims slightly lower and towards the midline of the truck. My right pod aims slightly higher and slightly away from midline. The left lights up the road in front of me about 100+ yds. while the right pod lights up the road @ +½ mile away and a little extra side visibility. It may be difficult to see that from my lousy pic.

I officially pulled the trigger... after talking AmericanTrucks into price matching the Morimoto site (-$90) and still provide the Lifetime Warranty.

This just hit me.
I was "slightly disappointed" in my look & color of my headlights last night at 11:30.
14 hours later... new headlights ordered.
2 days after buying 4 tires that I don't really need yet.
Is anyone on this forum a licensed mental health therapist ?
This is me asking for help... I've hit rock bottom. It's only a matter of days before I buy that F'n train horn. Then new shocks & a lift. This shit has to stop. I've spent more modding my truck than the cost of a new RR.

Decisions... for my impending Dual Fog Light Bracket purchase !
Go with 4 fog lights (all the same) with the 6-mode function ?
-OR-
Go with 2 (which I already have) 6-mode fog lights on the inside AND 2 outside Fogs with DRLs and Integrated Turn Signals ?

A little janky, but I love the idea! I have the same issue with my edge of my side shooters hitting the hood and nearly blinding me. Fingers crossed I still have some leftover black vinyl roll in the garage... Time to bust out the x-acto knife after work.4am fixes... ?‍

Nobody voted so I went with my gut and chose to put my 6-Mode Fog Lights at the "inside" position and the DRL Fogs w/ integrated turn signals at the "outside" position on the brackets I'm having made.
But the sales on Amazon end tomorrow and I needed to save that $38.
I currently have:
2 - Auxbeam 7" 6-Mode bars in the bumper
2 - Rough Country Bumper Slot Lights
2 - Auxbeam 5" LEDs w/ DRLs & Blinkers
2 - Auxbeam 3" 6-Mode Fog Lights
2 - Roush Grill Lights
Soon to have:
2 - Auxbeam 3" Fogs w/ DRLs & Blinkers
2 - GTR Carbide LED Headlights
It should look neat driving down the road with all 14 lights on...
And,,, I need new (stronger) hood brackets.
