It looks like I have to switch to these from weathertechs to stop getting paint chips on the rear quarters. I have the same tire size as a stock tremor.

I like mine. I don’t do off-roading that would cause the terra firma to contact the flap. I do adequately coat them in snow/ice half the year, and mud/turf the other half. Only issue I see is I have to re-paint the heads of the screws black again.

Not to hi-jack this...check out the weather tech mud flaps. Look great and no drilling to install. Very happy with mine.

XL mudflaps installed in January 23. NOTE: I have had rokbloks on all our vehicle (2 forsters and an outback) and have not been super happy with how they fade over time - I'll try and find the ones I replaced on the GF's outback that started out a pretty purple, and came off after ~18 months a muted, faded ugly purple. lol

Installation was pretty straight forward. based on the timestamps on the pictures - it took ~ 1 1/2 from before pics to after pics.

It’s not really worth me taking a picture, there is only one left attached. Put the XL’s on and liked the look, may have helped reduce some of the rocks flying off the Grabbers. But it didn’t take much off-roading to rip them off. I can’t recommend them if you go 4-wheeling much.
I can see this happening. On my forester I came down off a few small obstacles and the bottom of the flap would contact the top of what I just rolled off of and caused the rear bumper (plastic) to flex, as well as the mudflap to flex. this caused the paint on the bumper to crack, and eventually come off.

I think in general mud flaps are not a good idea if you offroad more than on road. and if that is true, I doubt you are worried about rocks being flung up on the road. . .

In that thought process, does anyone have a quick detach method for these? like hood pins, but for mud flaps. . .

It would help if their site had a better description and pictures with both. These aren't cut by hand. They should know the dimesions exactly and be able to list that.

From the site:
XL is about 1" wider towards the outside edge and almost 1" to 1.5" longer

So how much is about 1" wider exactly? Is it 1" wider or not?
How much is almost 1" to 1.5" longer? Is it under an 1" longer? Will it be 1.5" longer?

It is because there is some play in them and slight variations from one truck to another.

That and I imagine they didn't just go into the CAD and say make it X inches bigger.

The flaps are tapered from the narrowest point up top outward as they go down... My pictures up thread show the taper out from the truck.

I get them having adjustment. But they should be able to show the actual sizes not just an about or almost size reference.
