Another satisfied customer.

Timing was perfect ended up with one of the first updated sticks. Not sure if i got a QC stick as i saw no scuff marks on it. If it is bonus, verified by designer. Attention to detail did not stop with the stick a lot of thought went into packaging to protect during shipping.

Fitzstick and factory stick "cold" check were the same following the instructions. Took 40 mile trip at highway speed "70" in sport mode to get up to temp. Fitzstick level one tick over the "4" need to get a pump to siphon some out.

Before Fitzstick was available I used vid to check level after fluid and filter replacement. Got 6.5 quarts out and had to put 7 quarts in to get level to the "6" on factory stick.

Glad you are happy with it, and yes, that's the second one out there, reading it in bright light should be improved.

Got me curious about the scuff marks?

Mike, you did an awesome job with the product. I got mine installed today and it fits like a glove. Everything was top-notch, from the packaging to the instructions to the final result. It looks like it came from the factory. I really appreciate your effort and dedication. Let me know when you have the new stick ready, I want one for sure.

I got my tracking order for mine. Am I the third one out or was I the first one out? Ha ha.

I look forward to picking one of these up. Just crossed over 58k miles and was looking into getting a flush and filter change. This will certainly come in handy making sure the proper amount of fluid was put back in.

I've heard nightmare stories about flushing transmission...most recommend not doing that...

I've flushed many transmissions in my day as a tech and never had an adverse affect because of it. Actually improved many of them. But chose as you wish.

Not to deviate the thread from its purpose, mind me asking what service was done on your first transmission prior to it giving up the ghost? Also have you altered how you maintain your new one?

I think the transmission flush boondoggles happen when it's done on transmissions with lots of miles that have never had their fluid changed.

The flush loosens up all the accumulated crud that then proceeds to float throughout the transmission after a few more miles.
