I am interested in one of these, and also interested in the effort required to install one. I am assuming it is fairly simple to install.

Go to very first page and vote in the poll....vote "yes" will add your name to a listing.....also, stating that you want one here as you did gets you on a listing.

Better off posting interest here, the voting list is not easy for me to use as it’s random.
here I can see in some kind of order.
Hopefully coming up here I can have enough for everyone, no list needed.

Ok, order in and have read the instructions twice so far. I will do a little leg work before I get my order. My plan is to clean the Ford stick area and check current fluid level cold. Not sure I will go back when vehicle is hot, it depends if its easy to check without getting burned. This will give me a needed reference point so I can see if I'm in spec with fluid level.

For all you Ranger owners I used paypal credit which gives me 6 months to pay, and its not that I didn't have the cash I just like the extra time to pay off the bill.

Hey, they are not complete, there is a page of misc notes still coming, but important notes.
Why not make a PDF document that you can edit as you get feedback and post the document here on 5G. That way you can save some paper! If you need the conversion from some other format let me know and in a very short time can have that for you.

Edit: if we pay him with PayPal send it as a gift. Otherwise he gets taxed on it and that is going to add up with the number of these he will be making for all of us!

So, got it installed finally. Hardest part was getting the OEM cap off, ended up using a 2' breaker bar thru the flap gap in the right fender well, that was the best, had just enough room to break it loose then finish from underneath. Dropping the tube down was easy, just be sure to go between the two wire looms (small) on top. Getting the C clamp lined up for the bolt to thread was hard for me because I have large hands and it's a small space. But got it done!! looks great. Did the cold check before and after and is off a bit, made sure to bottom out both sticks, but as I had to move the truck halfway into the driveway to access the right side that was probably the issue. Stick was VERY well packaged and looks totally better than OEM!

With the extended stick it will read higher like mentioned in the notes section when it is cold, it's about 1/16 of an inch, what you have there looks like a little more.

So you moved the truck before both measurements? and then checked with the factory one and then with the extended stick after the truck sat a short amount of time? it will creep up to 3.5 or 4.0 on the stick it you let it sit long enough.

How long after shutting off did you check with the factory stick? and then with the extended stick?

I really tried to make it clear in the instructions about waiting when comparing it cold.

I'm glad you are pleased, too bad you couldn't have let it sit for a proper comparison.

I took the oem test cold in the garage, when I couldn't get the cap off I had to back the truck half its length to gain access to the right fender well, then I took the extended test after the install and before moving it back in. I will wait over night and do the cold test again on the extended stick in the garage.

Great, I think it’s cool the OP got the first one?

keep the stick separate until the install, it puts pressure on the bend, once the dipstick is place the fitting controls the shape.
Yes, good advice...just had to put it together for the pic..

Nope, the order of boxes got beat up in shipping, they all look the same?
He's kidding Mike...the packaging is very professional and nothing was damaged in the slightest...

If you check it now it is probably higher than the last time you checked.
the drain back is a slow process, cold in the morning is best, so you had to clamp it to get the bolt in?
Did you make sure it was in position?
This is where something that’s easy for me but may not be for others.
that bolt should start fairly easy once you hook the dipstick over the engine bracket, I gotta ask, the instructions have some really key points about fitment, got those right?
