I have 4 printed copies, with the bracket being within 12-14" from the turbo I decided aluminum is best, printed may be good enough, but I don't want any problems 2 years down the road as the printed material ages with all the heat cycles.

Thanks for the offer!!

The dipstick is simply a symptom of a greater issue at work. It is the cough, not the cold!

Retired, work is a four letter word.
Well, if you watch the news you know that there is a movement to repeal the 'Right to Repair' law, or policy depending on your location. That means simply that vehicle manufacturers would not have to provide the codes to access the computers in their vehicles, making them proprietary and in a 'walled garden'. This would result in ONLY dealerships and licensed shops being able to access these systems, leaving all other repair shops out in the cold.

So it's up to 123 yes votes, Hmm, I'm going to spend $3300 on 60 of the top fittings and the brackets today, that's before VAT and import taxes, so maybe, I will find out just how many will actually buy one.

I have everything else but the hoses, I have all the bottom fittings, sealing washers, sticks and hardware.

I should have never said "in a few weeks" way back when, it's been one setback after another.

Just the equipment to mark the stick took forever, had to have a custom stencil made, buy the machine, here is a sample of the marking, there is NO number 4 as that is where the small hole is on the stick, I did this in the middle of a scrap stick, I tried stamps, engraving, punching holes and even laser etching.

The numbers and diamonds could be a little smaller, but I was unsure how well the sticks would mark through the stencils, I'm considering ordering another stencil, the spacing is exact to the stock stick though, it's not centered either, I have to make a jig for the stick/stencil marking process.

So I wont say "soon" it will just jinx me again, but I'm flat out working on it.

I actually just ordered a new stencil, it needed an adjustment, smaller diamonds and numbers with lines at the numbers.

This is how it should look with the lines, you have to visualize the smaller numbers
