I got a letter from dealer saying the parts for tailight fix were in, made an appointment they said it would be abut 45 min. Went in and to waiting room about 30 min later they came and told me another connector part is needed, they didn't have it in stock so will let me know when to come back next.
Fortunately the lights seem to be working fine!

You'll have a Recall Flag on your Carfax Report until you get this checked. If you never intend to sell or trade it, you don't have to worry, but getting it checked out is probably the best option.
Mine was checked when I bought the car on 12/31/19. Unfortunately, the dealer must not have entered a record of it and now I’m getting recall letters to have it checked. I don’t want to have to take it back in just to get the recall flag cleared.

Bummer, but pretty certain that will stay on the vehicle record until cleared.
