So this is a weird one. I keep turning off the rear seat check reminder… and it keeps turning back on. It’s so incredibly annoying. Anyone have this happen to them? Nothing else on my radio is having issues, the saved stations are there, phones are still paired. It’s just this one setting. I’m calling ford to drop it off today if I can.

I love my truck but will get rid of it if this cannot be fixed. I go hunting a lot and cannot have that noise out in the woods right before I’m going to walk out to my spot. I even take the fuse out for the horn during hunting season so I can get in and out of my truck without it honking while it’s running which is also almost a deal breaker for me.

What build Sync3 do you have? This could be another issue with build 22257. If that’s what you have, then update to build 23188. Do not rely on a wifi connection to find the update.

Use Forscan to disable the honk when you leave with the engine running. I've also changed the key fob panic button to require two pushes to activate, instead of one. That prevents most of the accidental panic presses when the key is in my pocket.

I need to get my hands on Forscan then. I’ve never used it before.

Yeah, or find another Ford person nearby with access to the USB OBD2 adapter. That honk when exiting is super annoying. It is the one thing my mom hated about her Edge until we disabled it.

Yes! That honk while exiting is so annoying. I wonder how much the dealership charges to delete it?

I assume you are talking about the passenger not secure warning. I would try connecting the seatbelt and see if it stops.

I had Intelligent Access on my Flex. If you leave the fob in the truck, it won't honk. If you need to lock it running while away, use your Securicode keypad if you have one, or the Ford Pass app.
