Did a search here and online, found nothing. Just wondering if anyone has a way to keep rear camera lens clean. I always wipe with finger as I walk to truck, but doesn't help if I'm driving and need to back up. Surely someone has created something....
I do the same thing, wipe it off when I walk by it when the environmental conditions aren't good.

I prefer to use a microfiber towel and lightly wipe vs just a finger as it is plastic and can be scratched, it is annoying, but I have yet to find any rear cam that does not get covered in road grime.
Some say Rain-X helps repel, I have not tried it yet - but I think it may help
I agree on soft cloth even if it's my coat sleeve, I just don't try to polish it with my finger tip.

On the other hand, those front sensors scream bloody murder when they get covered in snow or mud. Drive me nuts for a short while until I discovered that hitting the P sensor button on the console shuts em off.

Hawk Tuah... ?
She's one expensive polisher lol...

Seriously, my rear camera lens is getting noticeably cloudy after 130K miles...think it's time to get some plastic lens polish to refresh the optics...or just buy a new one if that doesn't work...

I find it's worst after driving in the snow or rain so the finger wipe works well with the existing moisture. Just wipe your finger on your pants or sleeve when done. No need to spit on that thang.

You go dry? Diddy would be disappointed in you.

I seem to recall Rain-X should not be applied to plastic. There are likely products for plastic though.

The 303 Graphene acts like a Rain-X but much better. It can be applied on plastic, rubber and glass and sheds water really well. Hint...hint..hint...?

Trust Dave's advice !!!!
Just clean the lens and apply a good coating of 303 Graphine. Then, wait for a nice rainy day and drive in reverse for several miles.....the water just beads up and flows off that lens.....watch it as it happens !!!
