I cleaned about 1/2" of sludge and dirt off my drivers side last week. Today I went out and checked for leakage, there was nothing major to report. I then checked the rear axle and it was about 3/4" or more below the hole (stone cold). I added some more stink juice to it and will see if it starts leaking again.

Well I did some off-road adventuring yesterday and there's quite a bit of fluid on the driver's side rear. To the dealership... Feels like something thunks when starting and stopping now too. ?‍♂

Roughly 4,800. Bought it used @ 3,800.

Awesome truck, hoping to get these little things resolved and move on to upgrades and enjoyment.

Used at 3800 miles?! WTF?!
Dude found out he was having twins (allegedly). After trying to put 2 car seats in the back of this thing I can understand his change of heart.

Hope those of you that have had to take your trucks in 3+ times are being vocal at your dealerships that you will have them do a buyback.

In the process now, Ford won’t buy back unless you make them.

For the length of time you've been going thru your troubles with the truck I imagine any lawyer you choose could have that resolved quickly and probably bill less then 2-3 hours for you to get a resolution from the dealer/ford. Even if you aren't at Michigans 4 visit/30 days in service stipulation. That is beyond excessive!!! Sorry man. :(

I tried to resolve it with Ford, they said I didn't qualify based on my state's requirement. Because I've had it there 7-10 times, but it's only been "repaired" 3x according to them... It needs to be 4x+ I have work orders for no fewer than 6 "attempts" (one being 6+ months of waiting for parts driving a truck with no rear brakes to speak of) so I just called an attorney. They said Ford legally has 150 days to respond (WTF). Couple that with COVID, and I've been sitting on a broken truck for over a year. In that time It's gotten 29,000+ miles, 6 brake jobs, over 9 million stone chips, and it's been used like a truck.

I cringe to see what they are going to offer me for buyback. I'm afraid this is going to drag out for another year.

Lawyer up before they get you trapped in some time stipulation or minute detail not being met. They know what they're doing and have an entire legal team on their side.

Just had to take my truck in for a passenger side axle seal leak, they had to order the parts. Is this a common issue? My truck is a September 2019 build that I bought new in December 2019 and has 16,500 miles.

Mine had it done too. Was a 2019. Not sure of the build date. Apparently there were some defective units from the supplier.
