I went to a ford dealer service center for routine oil change. Inspection report then said shock absorber needs to be replaced due to leak. These are the photos from inspection report. Do i really need to replace?

If it's not a Tremor/Raptor, take this opportunity to replace the shocks with the best you are willing to spend money on. They do make a noticeable difference. Bilstein comes highly recommended. I've used them on a few Fords and I have to agree. If not Bilstein, then FOX.

Looks like you have a 2019 with some leaking. Time for new ones but if you ever wanted to level it, now‘s the time. Fox, Eibach, Bilstein, others. Take your pick. And then take a pic. For us. :D

Don't forget Eibach. Right in the middle of those with a great ride, handling and warranty.

A few things to be aware of:

Fox shocks are great but need to be rebuilt between 30k to 50k miles depending on usage, at a cost of roughly $100 per shock.

Not that big of a deal on the rears where they are easily removable, kind of a bummer on the front where removal is difficult, requires special tools, and a full alignment after re-installation.

Not to mention vehicle down time while they are being rebuilt unless you DIY.

The Bilstein and Eibach options both have a basically lifetime warranty (Bilstein is lifetime, Eibach is 1 million miles, so lifetime as well).

While the Fox shocks may perform better, do you put your truck through situations where they perform far enough above the Bilstein/Eibach options to warrant the extra maintenance?

Of course you can also replace with the typical Amazon or Rock Auto replacement shocks.

The most common ones used on the site here are the Fox/Bilstein/Eibach options and they have many satisfied users with lots of first-hand experience with them.

I have the Bilsteins and I am perfectly happy with them. They were a huge improvement over the stock FX4 shocks.
