I really have minimial skills and barely any tools! Not too sure i would have a nice day working on this by myself. But as you said, it's probably a better idea to test fit it before changing the bars. I just couldn't see how it would not rub with the space left that i saw. But considering 2 opinions already on it, it helps seeing otherwise!Honestly Simon, there are better threads on here that explain how to properly remove front and rear crash bars without hacking up parts of your truck. It requires a bit of patience but only minimal skill and tools are needed.
However, that setup seems like it will be fine without any rubbing. I’d mount it all up and test for issues first. If you find any, do a bit more research here and tackle the job yourself.
