Honestly Simon, there are better threads on here that explain how to properly remove front and rear crash bars without hacking up parts of your truck. It requires a bit of patience but only minimal skill and tools are needed.

However, that setup seems like it will be fine without any rubbing. I’d mount it all up and test for issues first. If you find any, do a bit more research here and tackle the job yourself.

Bonne chance

Is this your work truck? ;)

I really have minimial skills and barely any tools! Not too sure i would have a nice day working on this by myself. But as you said, it's probably a better idea to test fit it before changing the bars. I just couldn't see how it would not rub with the space left that i saw. But considering 2 opinions already on it, it helps seeing otherwise!

Not exactly my work truck! Mine is more like this, if you can call that a truck!

I bought the same crash bars and am getting the tires very soon but going with the 265/70R17 tires and the Tremor Rims which I have already but not on my rig yet. Not sure if I need to replace the crash bars yet but like those a lot better than the stock ones.

Quite surprised you don't get any rubbing. I don't even see an 1/2 inch of space between the tire and front bar at full turn on my stock setup. Thanks, i might wait and test fit before and ask for a refund on the crash bars if it fits perfectly without it.
Well this is my big DUH moment as I casually forgot to mention that I have the front Bilsteins set at 1.8 inches of lift :headbang:

Please overlook my forgetfulness and always remember that no matter where you are, at the end of the day, it's night.

Those guys with the SQ in Rivière-du-Loup have pretty fun work trucks.

I think the comparison still stands - Simon has a Tremor so he has some front lift. The amount of lift has come under debate, but there’s definitely some there.

Isn't there some "play" in the crash bars sometimes. I thought I read you could loosen the bolts an push the bars away from the tire an tighten them down an get a fraction more clearance. I have 265/70 on stock wheels with a 1.8" level an I don't have any problems.

It makes sense. Tremor apparently has a 0.8'' lift compared to the regular model. So if i add the 1'' spacer lift kit, it would equates to his 1.8'' lift.

Seems to me that the problem got solved right there lol.
