What's the deal with the Four Wheeler MT times for the Tremor? Did they do this in the dirt or something? ?

Most likely the Tremor's 32" tires are making the difference.
Larger diameter and heavier tires don't help.
Truck itself probably weights a little more also.

So when I was shopping for a Ranger here in the Philippines, I told myself I don't need the Raptor. As I will only generally be driving on city streets, and highways. Well there is areas where the roads are so rough that I wished I had bought the Raptor.

I really appreciate the feedback. I can tell you that I have received more comments on this truck then I ever did on the Rams. They all looked alike. Every Ranger is different with all of the packages and mods.

This is going to sound really odd and don’t make fun of me but I have been a little reluctant to get on it in fear I might break it?.. Im just to used to the big trucks I guess. I have only had it right at a month, 1400 miles, so I’m gonna man up and really have some fun with it today. I’ll give a full report.

I did have a Bullet Liner sprayed in yesterday, have some chrome steps being delivered today and ordered a Terrain Management switch so I am dedicated to be a die hard Ranger owner and have made some nice FORScan changes.

Thanks again!
no worries man you will not break it. the engine is twins with the one from the eco boost mustang and people drive those like they stole it. seems like the 4 and 6 cylinder mustang camaros and challengers are the ones with drivers always trying to prove they fast lol. another way to think of it is that the ranger will do push pull and tow almost as much as the full size half ton trucks, get better fuel miles and be much more nimble off road. easier to park .

Loving my truck. Had a beautiful Ram Eco Laramie and it was a great truck just too big and no need now that I don’t tow a camper anymore.

I would agree with Phil….no issue dusting most other trucks off the line. Put it in sport mode and hammer down. You will be impressed.:like:

I have not but I will now for sure!
Also keep in mind.... when you shift to Sport Mode, do on touch with +/- buttons on the shifter so the tranny will stay in auto shift. If you push the +/- buttons, you will then need to manually shift the tranny with the buttons. Your choice though..... ENJOY IT ?

I really don't regret getting a Ranger. Sometimes I might miss driving something a little sportier. My wife needs to borrow the truck ever once in a while and I drive her TT. It worked out great for our recent move, though a full size would have been better. I would want to put up driving a full size vehicle every day for the once a year I might need a larger bed.

The gas pedal is the one one the right.
Quoted wrong person? I promise I’ve found the gas pedal and sport mode. Continually impressed with the Ranger’s ability to get up and go!

If gas prices weren't so outrageous, I’d get the Ford premium tune too.

Sorry, this was intended for the OP.
I am one of those guys that works 12 hours a day and has little time for himself, much less time to read an owners manual. Sport Mode WTH? Well I found out today. I felt the true power this truck has. I have a whole new love for it now. Thanks for bringing it up. This group is awesome!!

No lack of power here! My Ranger paper wise does more than most of the full size trucks in my family! They have mid 2000s trucks. Ford. 1 chevy. Only regret is not getting the rear locker.
Which i have still not needed. But just want. Lol

Being I told you so...

I have a few grand under the hood, and have gone about as far as I can without changing over to a much higher fuel tank "proof" rating! Even with the sticky tires I'm running now, I have to act like Marc; I don't push it at stop lights. If I do, everyone within earshot will hear the tires squeal, including the local constabulary.

The average elevation here is about 3,800 feet. Yet, according to my draggy, 0 to 60 comes up under 5 seconds, unless the temperature is high (it is 108° as I write this!). Quarter miles (in decent weather) is a bit over 14 seconds, and hovering around 105 MPH. Save for the 700+ HP of the Ram TRX (or F150 Snake!), I don't think I have too much to worry about.

When I first test drove my 2019 Lariat I did it just for shit and giggles because it was a 4 cylinder and I planned on laughing at the salesman on my return. Instead I smiled from ear to ear all the way back to the dealership and bought it. No remorse here! Love this truck more than any other one I've owned. ? BTW you may want to find a junked 2019 Lariat and grab a few items Ford decided to leave off your 2022 to save money. There are threads here to see what you are missing.
