They hit it out of the park on styling imho. Want to see how their 2.7 Turbo motor holds up for a couple years. Definitely like look of the GM twins better than Ranger6g.

Oh boy. Definitely some concerning responses here.

Let me clarify some things for our 5G members:

Ford = good :clap: :rockon:

GM = bad :asshat::angry:

Work with me here. Practice at home this evening. Maybe even have your spouse make flash cards to practice with.

Even if you struggle now do not fret! With just a bit of effort this will become second nature. Until one day you'll realize that every time you see a GM product you immediately think "Wow! What a piece of shit!"

Happy to help fellow forum members any way I can.

Ford. Because.

:sunglasses:

All those who are contemplating buying a Chebbie...raise your hands !!!
OK, now all of you will be forever sentenced to clean urinals at the nearest defunct Yugo plant !!!
Either that, or you will be destined to clean the undercarriages of Ranger's with a toothbrush !!! After it's been run thru a cow pasture....where a lot of cows are !!!

I'm happy there's competition. GM had plenty of time to see the 6G Ranger and knew exactly what it was competing against when they built their new gen. It should be an eye-opener for Ford and they need to step up their game with a surprise or two for the NA 6G Ranger.

im disappointed all the trucks look about the same now. over boxy, tall body, too much plastic in the front, silly body poofs that do nothing but look boxy lol. its against my religion to by anything new from gm. the new 6g is pretty ugly. i dont care for the toycoma or craze over them. the frontiers ugly and over priced. so i guess im keeping the 5g for a while if the transmission is fixed and holds together ?

The new twins don't even have a physical knob to turn the headlights on/off.
Has to be done via the infotainment screen!
No thank you.
oh wow. i hope ford stays away from that. its not that too old to like tech but i think its getting to a crossroads where too much is being done on screen for no real reason and it brings reliability down.
