Sorry if this is been talked about, but I am wondering if the location of my radar detector could interfere with lane keeping sensor? I don’t know if it’s me, but since I installed the detector, It seems like my lane keeping isn’t working correct from the left side. I’m hoping it’s just in my head. Does anybody else have their radar detector on this side, and do you have any issues? Thanks in advance.

You really don’t need to see it. Why not move to other side? Can’t the beep tone and speed of the beeps tell you what you would see on the display?

I wish I had a dollar for every ticket I've written to people with radar detectors! Good luck, but knowledgeable cops laugh at radar detectors!

I wouldn't expect it to interfere. The lane keeping system uses the camera that's mounted right next to your detector and can't be seen inside the truck. Unless there is some crazy electrical interference it shouldn't be a problem. You can always look into a blendmount if you think it's causing issues

Yea, true, but I do like to see the display. Besides, I was thinking either side might cause an issue with interfering with the lane keeping sensor.

Yea, that’s what I was hoping. As far as the blend mount, I looked into it. There isn’t enough room between the mirror and base. The stem is too narrow. I tried the quarter test. No way it would fit.

Why not do the speed limit and actually drive the truck instead of letting the lane keeping drive for you ... Just curious

Paul, have you tried taking it down to see if the LK is still off? I'd try that first and go from there. I have no need for a radar detector here because as long as you're going under 90 you're good!
