Based on most people's posts the rear struts need to go asap. Common upgrade is the blistien, eibach, or fox 2.0s. leaning towards Fox. I really want to avoid replacing fronts for a while, but would like to get rid of some of the rake. This will require either new shocks or Spacer's. Pulling fronts to install spacer will need a realignment... Just trying not replace all 4 right off the bat. Looking for thoughts. What the best way to lift front and not get a realignment?(is this even possible)

You cant. You have to re-align. If you are going to spend the time, do it right with leveled struts or coilovers. I have the bilstein 5100's all around and like them. Personal preference between all the ones you have listed.

If you're gonna do it, avoid the spacers. More cons then pros. Might as well put off the job a little bit and just do it all. However, if you want to start with ride quality, do the rear dampers then when you feel like doing the alignment, do the fronts with matching ones to the rear.

Thank you. Looks like I will do just rears first. Now I noticed the rears can accommodate different lift heights. I am not looking for anything crazy, so all of the as standard struts can take a 1 inch lift should be fine? I just want the truck level with a bit of extra height.

The back has standard shocks. The front are struts.

With all the work involved to instal level spacers up front, you might as well just get adjustable coilovers. It’s actually the same amount of work. The factory struts and rear shocks are still junk so in my opinion adding spacers to the factory suspension is counter productive.

Ford Performance Fox 2.0 from levittown. Great deal on them, no shipping and no sales tax. Best mod i’ve done easily. And you have to get a re-alignment, but my Ford dealer included that in the install price.

Rather break up the purchase. From what I have heard the rears are the better bang for your buck vs the fronts on the fx2/fx4 package

I did bilstein 5100's front and rear + a 1" eibach lift block on the rear. I did 2.5" front and that 1" in the rear and the truck sits higher and still has a slight rake to accommodate towing and loading the bed.

Note: I did the same thing you are talking about. I did rears first, then fronts, then I added the lift block as it was TOO level.

Do you do any light off-roading? IE service roads, some mud and dirt?

Are the 5160's worth it due to external reservoir? For 400$ for the pair its only 100$ more than the Fox 2.0's

I know stock is zero everywhere but I have several months till my truck comes in. Thus order them now and hope they get in stock next year close to when i take delivery

Did you need an alignment when you did just the rears?

I have 5100 fronts but the rears are backordered, possibly months. Was going to install+align the front and do the rears myself whenever they get here. Didn't think I would need two alignments though.

Yeah, I do quite a bit of offroad driving: forest roads, some wheeling, offroading to get to trails and get the dirtbike to places or my camper trailer. I like the 5100's a lot. I don't do high speed stuff, so I didn't see the need for the external reservoir ones.

No alignment needed for the rears

RETIRED!!!!
I did the Fox 2.0 on the rear. Raised the back of the truck about 3/4 inch. Will wait until spring and work some OT and do the fronts then. Rears were super easy. About 20 minutes in the garage. No lifting of the truck. Just crawled under. Made a big difference in the ride.

Retired, work is a four letter word.
Did the rear with Eibachs right away, doing the front coilovers next week.
