Any recommendations for a stock xl truck? Just bought the truck at 60k miles. This thing rides like a boat compared to my old 2500, pitches back and forth on rough roads, even at highway speed. Doesn’t feel very planted.
I want it to feel solid pulling a travel trailer. No off-roading.

All the options you posted are good routes to go pending what you want. Based off personal opinions:

Bilstein 5100: great simple and inexpensive upgrade. Not the softest ride but you cant deny how well the 5100s are built and dont break the bank. I had this on my tacoma build for awhile and after swapping the springs out, I really enjoyed them for quite some time. I did eventually upgrade but that was for 2 reasons; Main reason was due to off roading. I needed more travel. And the second was for comfort. The billies rode a little stiff for my liking. So I upgraded to a Fox kit down the road. The other thing about bilsteins right now is they do have a long delay time at the moment though sadly

Eibach: Pro kit or Stage 1 kit (coilovers) are another great option. The pro truck kit rides a little smoother then the billies do but are still very similar. Will get you a leveled lift but reuses your stock springs and top hats. The Coilovers are adjustable and are a much better upgrade over the pro kit in terms of comfort and the adjustability.

Fox 2.0: personal opinion is that this is the best kit. We currently have these on our Ranger. The ride is phenomenal. Both on street and off roading. We've tested them on obstacle courses (level 2 course/moderate) as well as just trails. They are the most expensive of the bunch, but I do feel they were the best all around.

I hope this all helps! As I said these are just personal opinions. You for sure want to go with whatever you like and are comfortable with. Feel free to message us if you have any questions!

I am hoping to score a gently used set of Fox 2.0's front and rears for a steal :)

Ford Performance Fox 2.0 from levittown. Great deal on them, no shipping and no sales tax. Best mod i’ve done easily. And you have to get a re-alignment, but my Ford dealer included that in the install price.
So your dealer didn't have any issue with you buying the part from elsewhere?

BTW The ford Version on the Fox 2.0 kit only show 4WD vs the Fox's from fox show 2WD and 4WD. Can anyone comment on this?

For better than stock ride quality pretty much any suspension kit available for the Ranger(with the exception of spacers) will give you better ride quality.

Depending on what you are wanting to do with the truck will also depend on what kit you should go with.

Something to understand with trucks. They have rake for a reason. When you load the truck the rear goes down(shocker I know). If you completely level the truck out(doesnt sound like you will but who knows) and go to load the truck you will end up having the goofy reverse rake look amd that will not be a good thing.

Now if you are planning to take your truck OffRoad for fun trail riding then you might want to consider the Old Man EMU lift kit. It lifts the truck 2.4 front and 1.6 rear. You can run 33's with little to no problems depending on tire and wheel combination. Foe what you get all together it really is the "best bang for your buck" suspension package(and I'm not talking about the BP-51's).

I have had the suspension for close to 2 tears with roughly 35,000 miles and I like it(and still plan to upgrade to BP-51's). If anything I say consider it as it is a great choice for those who take their truck on the trail.

Enjoy the pictures for reference
