That looks like an awesome time!

That photo really showcases the (lack of) front suspension articulation though.

I wonder how much better one of the aftermarket suspensions would do in that situation.

If you ever upgrade your suspension, that spot is the perfect place to highlight the improvements. :like:

I found that out last month when I wanted to play around for a bit and get the truck dirty. Terrible articulation.

I was by myself so did not want to get too crazy but the right rear tire was off the ground about an inch. Hardly any frame flex though!

That's a leaf sprung solid axle's biggest limitation. Tbf I would say that's pretty damn good for leaf sprung. A coil sprung rear end would be sweet on the Ranger. Maybe once the Bronco comes out, the aftermarket can steal some ideas for a coil spring rear end swap :)

Not much of a hard core offroader, but gave it a shot today...

Excuse me, I don't see enough dirt on that. You also might want to see the dealer about that fuel door, it looks like it might be hard to open.

Rear doors might not be installed correctly to function as well!

Got the Ranger out for some fun time this weekend out at Afton Canyon/Mojave. It was a blast. The truck handled everything great, hit some relatively stupid speeds (80+ at points and yes offroad) and it rode like a cloud over just about everything (nowhere near stock), and even got the rear end up in the air on a hidden whoop (because my new leafs aren't in yet and jeez these are the weak point in the suspension now) and crossed water midway up the doors and nothing got in and no issues at all. I love this truck.

Cruising up and down the utility right-of-way at my friends farm in Kentucky.

I had a quarter tank of gas, but as the picture shows, it is near empty when pointing downhill.
My next stop on the hill was an even steeper slope and I got the warning that I was out of gas, Instead of taking pictures I decided it was best to keep moving and not starve the engine.
Lesson learned - hills and low on gas dont mix.
