Well, I finally got a weeks vacation and since Friday last week I have traveled so far over 2100 miles from Eastern MT to West Yellowstone MT into Yellowstone and Teton National Parks in MT and WY and then yesterday I drove up to Old Fall River Road in Rocky Mountain National Park in CO. Here is my hand calc MPGs at fill-ups and they were +/- 0.3-0.8 difference on the dash. I'm very happy w/ my Ranger MPG.

Sort of "off road", just messing around on some back roads.

With a non-FX4/ no locker truck, I was quite happy with how the traction control distributed the power and allowed me to maintain forward motion after that wheel left the ground.

That looks like a blast dude. Awesome setup! What lift/wheels/tires are you running?

Also the water fording looks so cool too, any issues after going through water like that?

First Saber I've seen with a color match topper. And it doesn't look as bad as I thought, I'd almost say it looks pretty darn good! Makes me rethink my tonneau instead of topper choice.
I would have liked a topper/cap, but they are too hard to remove and I haul dirt/rocks/barkdust, etc on a regular basis, so I need to be able to remove whatever cover I have on the bed relatively easily. One reason I chose the Extang solid fold cover was that it was easy to remove when I need to.

I do really like the look of that cap though.

Just running a ready lift 3” leveling kit for now. Want to order the Kings but may hold out for a long travel kit. Wheels are Method 305NV with BFGoodrich K02 285/75-16.

Nice truck man! Waiting for some decent kits to come out before I shell out some big money for wheels tires etc. Long travel would be real nice. Where about are you? SoCal I assume?

I am in Santa Barbara. I really want to order the King coil overs but am patiently waiting on some long travel options as well. Don’t want to buy coil overs twice lol.

I seen you! I stopped in Santa Barbara on my way to pismo last month and spotted a nice gray ranger. I knew yours looked familiar. You have an exhaust too don’t you?

And it performed great! Spent most of the time in 4 high. Occasionally used 4 low and at the steepest point I got the off road gauge showing 20 degrees. The Wildpeak AT3W tires were excellent on rock and in mud.

with that said - the service 4x4 light did come home about half way (30 miles in) home. After turning the truck off at a gas station and back on it went away. It shifts into 4H and 4L so I’m not sure there’s actually an issue or maybe a sensor got wet. Any ideas?
