Looks like the entrance to the Outlaw trail by the Honanki Ruins. The beginning of the trail is the best part but half way though it gets kind of tight and a lot of scrub brush unless someone trimmed it back. We usually hitches trail every year when up there but didn't this year because it started pouring after we were hiking in the morning.

Nice … and it was near Honanki Ruins I took the picture last Thanksgiving went out there after a trip to Grand Canyon

Took the STX to Uwharrie Nat'l Park today in NC to hit a few of the "moderate" off-road trails. Teamed up with a couple jeeps who led this novice around a few sketchy tracks (to whom I am grateful!)

I don't really get out, if ever, on the trail to take photos but here's a gratuitous pic of the Ranger getting the tires aired back up after we were finished...

Did a little "red-nosing" in the clay...

I installed the token factory transfer case plate a few months back. Was wondering about the tubular construction that puts it noticeably lower than the frame. Smooshed it on a break-over obstacle. Now I finally got my answer.....

I was honorably "ducked" by one of the jeep owners. I think he was a little impressed with the Ranger despite the longer wheel base.

Stoneman Lake/Apache Maid Mountain in Arizona. We had a good summer monsoon season. It is still dumping rain yesterday and today, so I guess we now have a fall monsoon too.
All the rain has sprouted millions of tall yellow flowers, any open area that isn't a dirt road or under the cover of a big pine is covered with these 2 1/2-3 feet tall "Mini Sunflowers".

10000% braver than I am. I would never take a ranger down the Chute on Cleghorn - that is sketchy AF in a built vehicle. Looks like a good time!

I'll tell you shit was scary but stand behind how capable this truck is after that lol, and all with a 500 eibach lift and 34s lol. Literally that was it. My side steps did get banged up and surprisingly were pretty good at being sliders.

Took the GF and the dog out to the San Bernadino Glider port, excellent day on the mountain with great visibility! Good thing white hides pinstripes...

Pinstripes are badges that most jeeps and tacos don't really have. Most are pavement overlanders.
