Don't see why it wouldn't...you can go to any quality automotive paint supply with your paint code and they can zip you out a spray can of paint to match yours...runs about $20-$25 .
Just make sure to prep the area before paint...it is in an area that won't get a lot of "looking at" but still needs to be sanded down on the edge, cleaned, primed, and painted.
I'm going the bedliner route for the rock chip protection.
And yes, my 2021 has the same "gob's" on the pinch welds. Think it's just a result of the thin water based paint being used today...dosen't set up and "skin" as fast as the enamels/lacquers did.
I will keep that in mind, thanks for the help! Once I got out there and actually check out the other side of the pinch welds, I will figure out how I will handle it. I imagine there is a reason they need to take the doors off and bed, but it seems strange to me. It seems like they wanna refinish the whole rocker area on the truck so perhaps that's why.

You can order OEM mixed paint in spray cans online as well. Here's a couple of them that are well known. Also a good source for doing things like color matching trim, grills, rims, etc. Paint scratch sells kits for spraying on metal or plastic surfaces. so depending on what you're painting it should turn out good and last as long as you prep it correctly etc..

Take a look at these guys. They have color tints for bed liner paint. It’s an epoxy base so for what you’re doing it will stand up to a real beating over a long period of time. https://www.raptorcoatings.com/us/en/color-pouches#.YQByL-T3aEc

I’m going to be using this to paint my bed. My son did his F150 bed and it looks phenomenal. Spray gun applied went on real easy. Just do a good prep job and problems solved
