That is the same as mine originally. Here are a couple of photos of the NEW connector, part #6257.
I've disconnected from the top vacuum port and will be installing this on the bottom port.
We'll see what happens then.

OK. It's been a month since installing the Vacuum Connect Kit #6257. I am happy to say there have been no more warning from the Brake light.
I do believe we have a cure.

Retired, work is a four letter word.
I have also notice that the Auto Start/Stop is no longer functioning.
My system was installed using the vacuum port near the top of the brake booster. Since my last post, Demco has told me to change my hookup to the lower brake booster vacuum port where the sensor is installed.. Demco is sending me a new installation kit so I will have all the needed fitting and new hose to install.
I have attached the photo I received from Demco showing the new installation.
We'll see what happens after this is done.

That is going to be a bear to get too on the bottom like that. No line on it as it is just for the vacuum sensor, so they will need to provide an elbow along with a 'T' for the sensor and the vac connection. Mine is connected to the top hose and seems to work fine.

You are correct. The auto Start/Stop no longer works. That is the same photo Demco sent me.
What they sent me was the Part# 6257 and new vacuum hose to run from the control unit. The 6257 is all made up to just plug into the lower port on the vacuum booster, you move the sensor out to the end away from the booster, hook up the new vacuum line and done.

Attached photo is my current configuration.
The BLUE arrow shows the 90 degree fitting in the lower port of the brake booster.
The other BLUE line shows the sensor moved to the end of the new part.
The "T" in the middle is the hose going to the Demco Control unit.
There is 1 check valve installed in the vacuum line near the Control unit.

We are experiencing similar issues.

For those that installed the 6257 part to plug in at bottom of booster where pressure sensor was located, what did you do with the stuff you plumbed in on the vacuum supply line up top? Cap off the tee?

I’d like to get that 6257 part AND restore the OEM vacuum supply hose/tubing up top back to factory configuration, but can’t see if/how that hose/tube is replaceable without hose clamps.

Hose clamps it is. When mine was installed a section of the plastic vacuum line was cut out about 6" from the brake booster. I just put a piece of hose accross the gap with hose clamps. Not fancy but it works. You can purchase the whole assembly that is attached to booster and put it ba.ck to stock.

Thanks. I did some searching and it looks like that whole assembly retails for around $225. We are on the road and won’t be in a place long enough to get parts shipped to us until middle of the month. Probably not worth the $$ to replace that assembly, so I’ve got at least 2 weeks to think it over.

Your welcome.
With the way the supply chains are now, If you can find the whole unit, get it. Never know what's going to be available down the road. LOL

So I finally had the time (and acceptable weather) to install the 6257 part that relocates the vacuum sensor and provides a tee for the demco vacuum pump. I also ordered an OEM replacement for the section that was previously modified to tee in.

I also added a 2nd demco check valve and placed it closer to the tee with the thought that I wanted to reduce chances the demco vacuum unit could end up being a vacuum leak while driving the Ranger. The original one at the demco vacuum pump is still there. And this one is more accessible since I had to place the demco vacuum pump near the lower front cross member. We have the tremor package and the relays for the upfitter switches are in the spot most others have placed that same vacuum pump.

Been working great for at least a week now....and we haven't gotten a "pre-collision assist not available" warning after the first couple of drive cycles. I had been hypothesizing low vacuum pressure could trigger the loss of pre-collision assist (and loss of cruise control for us) but could not find anything definitive about what specific conditions trigger that warning. So far so good.

I'm glad everything is working. I don't think the second vacuum valve is needed. Demco told me to only use the one at controller. I have had no further problems with the system.
Good luck.

Reviving this older thread....
We purchased a used 2021 Ranger from a family where the gentleman passed away. The truck had been towed behind their motorhome and had "some" brake assist system installed but, was removed by the family prior to our purchase. Test drive was fine. On the way home, the brake warning popped on. Pulled over to read the codes (I always bring my DTC reader with when buying a vehicle). My code reader would not pull any codes. Brakes seemed fine at the off-ramp. Got back on interstate and completed journey home. No issues.

We've had the truck a few months now and periodically, this same warning will appear. I've since read the DTCs using ForScan and see P0950F as the trouble code. Vacuum boost too low. I have searched the internet and read this thread through. I've checked the whole vacuum system and can find no leaks. Brakes have worked fine throughout. Only once did the pedal feel a bit stiff but only for a moment.

I'm curious if anyone has ever removed their brake assist system and had any suggestions of where to check for leaks? Pictures? The problem keeps happening and I'm not relishing taking the truck to a dealer to chase an intermittent/random vacuum leak issue. Truck is out of 3yr/36,000mi warranty period, Does have extended warranty but, I know this could take a while to find and multiple trips to the dealer involved. Hope to maybe fix myself.

Check the vacuum hose to the brake booster for leaks or loose clamps. Use the picture in post #14 for reference. Follow it back to the engine while inspecting.
