Thanks Bret. The CJ is not quite as it seems. I inherited it from my FIL who bought it new in 1946. I did make a few improvements though. Tube chassis, 4 link narrowed 8.8 (from a ranger), mustang II front , roller cammed aluminum head 5.0, and a C4 auto.

Wow very nice. That must have taken some time. I can see why you need the shoulder harnesses. It must go pretty good for as light as it is, with the power you have.

The roller I've been constructing has had things done to it. Over the past few days I pretty much got my rubber belting cut and mounted on this roller as wings plus the comb installed. Wings are on the outside edges that it will flex up in the snow when you get the roller brushed up against something, these will flex out of the way. Its about 3/8 thick, has lots of fiber in it. Most of there photos are its bottom and show the comb which is blue and makes ridges in the snow. The yellow plate is the top side of the wing and has modest weights added to it. The comb and black plastic mounted on the front, is all HDPE. Love that stuff.

Hi Paul,

Yep! There were several folks at the assembly plant that could take the body carriers that were destine for the sand blaster to chip off the paint Some very unique and beautiful work! My Ex wife has a few of these pieces that I bought from these talented artists on the line!

Phil, That looks great !! Did you cast these ? Lost wax technique ? I was a dental lab tech for 14 yrs....same process we use to make crowns, bridges, etc. We used either a broken arm casting machine or an induction machine.

Hi Mike,

Hi I get silver casting from my buddy in Michigan the owns a Watch repair and custom jewelry business. There is a bit of clean up from his process and then inlay the mineral(s). I only make these for the wifes of tortoise owners and give them away... Slight exception is my daughter who has one but she is the daughter of a Tortoise owner...

best,
Phil Schilke
