Hi Alan,
Yep...but my planned application is in the back seat cup holders, bringing the tray forward for my wife to park her makeup, sun glasses etc....
Not the Front seat area as depicted...
Your assessment of front seat is correct in my opinion....
On another subject....being in Roswell...I was a toddler in Alamogordo as my dad was stationed at Holloman Air Force Base...I was a toddler... you remember Col. Staff? He was two houses down on the corner house. Col Staff rode the rocket sled before rocket travel was accomplished... I sat on his front porch and he took a shine to me...He always had something broken from the sled rides...He told me it was not the acceleration but the braking through the pond to slow the sled...
I also toured the ground zero of the 1st atomic bomb blast. I have green glass in a Dixie Cup in my archives to this day.... Way too hot at the time in 1951....

I've lived here in Roswell, since 2001. I've gone to several of the UFO bashes, and I recall meeting someone who road the sled. For me, the real kicker is how much money flows into the Roswell, area every year around the July 4th weekend. Insane the way some folks dress, and they don't do it to ride a sled!
