My Ranger mileage is consistently 23.2 between trips to town, long trips for enjoyment or on gravel roads in the forest or BLM. That's much better than my F150 hauling the horse trailer..

I don't jackrabbit off the starts, but when I get to speed I drive it like I stole it, Usually 75-85 on the highway.

After 4 years of owning it, mileage has increased from around 21 to 24-25 highway. I have never calibrated the MPG, and that is from the dash read-out; all stock, so take that into consideration.

2020 Lariat FX4 bought new in March 2021, with about 25K miles.

Don't take this away from us. =(

For some, maybe even me, we don't have lots of exciting things in our lives ... =p

Watching the Ranger's gas needle go down is, at least, faster than watching paint dry! =D

Not taking anything away from you, couldn't if I wanted to. Just saying that it is entertaining reading, I'd. Miss it, really. It helps lift the mood after the transmission threads. 😕

My 2019 is doing fine right now with 40K on it. Never had am issue. Just put on the deeper pan and changed the filter. Added new fluid and Lubeguard, yes I have the Fitzstick.

Just saying it was not even a consideration when I bought my Ranger and still isn't. I could care less as to what everyone else is getting with theirs. But, it sure seems to be important to some people as it comes up quite regularly.

It’s a feature I’d say is definitely admirable. It’s advertised as the best in fuel economy for midsize trucks and I’d expect it to hold up to that. Not an obsession, just an admiration. I certainly like the fact that I generally get better gas mileage than say a 2020 Colorado or 2020 Tacoma.

I have the shallow PPE pan and have some ATF oil and LubeGuard standing by.

How much of a pain was it to change your pan?

Not bad, did put the front up on jack stands to give me a little more working room. I'd say using the 12v pump to pump out the fluid took the longest. It did make it less messy dropping the pan. Watch one of the videos first. I did not let it drain over night like some people so maybe didn't get as much out. Need to get some more ULV and Lubeguard and do another drain/fill to get my percentage up.

I did notice the transmission seemed quieter after the change.opo Mine was not giving me any issues before. The first shifts were maybe a little smoother.

The fuel mileage is great averages between 23 and 25 mpg combination of city and highway driving.
My favorite thing about the Ranger is the maneuverability factor or as the point and shoot capability, especially considering mine spends alot of its time in other peoples parking lots. Lol!😁
