hello, been tryna figure out if anyone has put on the ome heavy leaf spring on a ranger. I’m debating between the medium and heavy OME leaf springs. I have in the bed / truck

- tool box 100lbs
- gunner kennel 48lbs
- bed rack 160-190lbs
- shower awning 25lbs
- rock sliders 120lbs

fully loaded I’m sure passed 600lbs

I’ve posted on here before but can’t decided before make the big purchase.

It is always recommended to have matching suspension components vs mixed. If going with Old Man EMU, the. Go with Old Man EMU. Same idea if you were to go with Dobinsons, then Stick with Dobinsons.

As for the weight I can say with the medium load leafs you should sit close to lift height with that load as you will be close to 660 lbs. An additional 800 lbs will bring it close to level(assuming you have everything Old Man EMU suspension).

Also do I need to replace my BP-5160s in order to have a heavy load ome?
Springs will work without anything else. You may run in to issues with the length of the shock, but you don't have to have the BP-51s. (They're called BP-51s, the 5160 are Bilstein).

ARB USA would be a good place, I agree. Their customer service is friendly and knowledgable.
