So I have the lean like others have, any thoughts or experience on arching the left spring about a inch by a shop who does that work?
I took measurements from the top surface of the leaf to the underside of the frame and there is at least 3/4" less of a gap on drivers side and you can even tell by looking at the bump stop it's closer to the top of the leaf than pass side.
Is this just a defective leaf or poor design?
I have the factory shim and at time of measurement 1/2 tank of fuel.
Thanks.

just sloppy poor quality control from ford factory. that far off may be a warranty issue. maybe take it by a dealer and see what they say.

Yea agree on the poor quality whoever is the manufacturer/supplier of the spring I'm guessing was the cheapest bidder to get the contract, not sure if i want to go the dealer route, if arching it is not a workable solution, I'm going to replace it
I put two tube sand bags over the right side wheel well and that leveled it, but now on 2 occasions i needed room for some stuff and had to remove them, their 60 or 70 lbs each, getting to be a pita.
Going to try a more permanent solution.

Hmm, and by removing the factory 1/4'' that would give the the 3/4'', any issue with driveshaft pinion angle that might cause? I not to familiar with that kind of stuff other than some postings about vibration due to incorrect angle.
thanks for the idea.

dealer may replace the spring under warranty and avoiding any issue with pinon etc. if you change anything - ANYTHING- suspension related and you have any future issues with drive shaft or angles etc. ford / dealers will wash hands of it and say warranty void lol. thats what happened to me.

I was thinking that same thing, I changed out the shocks to the Bilstien 5100‘s and adjusted the fronts to level it out also changed the tires to a size larger, don’t know if any of that would make the dealer have a issue about the lean being warranted, but I would guess they could try to.

depends on the dealer. basically it becomes a you vs. them and ford will side with the dealer, happily. i changed shocks struts and added a leaf spring. according to the dealer the transmission problems with my truck are due to the after market parts... despite them being the dealer that previously worked on the transmission before the new parts lol. as soon as they saw after market parts it was the easy out for them.
