Well really wanted to get the old work truck vibe and started by going the 'other direction'.
Remove alloy XLT wheels in place of 16x7 Stock Ford Steelies. Used a set of ST Maxx 265 75 16's.
Cooper website says 7" in the range of rim width. Pouring outside but here's a pic for you in the Garage if you're interested.
No issues clearance wise on or off road, no spacers, 2" Fox Performance lift up front, Fox shocks rear.

Got the idea when I saw a Bronco with steelies with that size tire. Tried the 235 85 16's but wasn't quite the look I was going for.
On the highway the ST Maxx tires are surprisingly smooth with my suspension.

Ah, farther back Ol' Skool, and a 2wd Ranger XL Regular Cab with steelies was a great "shop" truck. ;)

Rain is stopping.....
Just cleaned the truck before it started and put in the garage. I'll pull it out and take a few more pics later.

Looks good.

You could've fit 255/85 r16 under there with your lift. Would've been a bit taller and only slightly skinnier, but these fill the wheel wells nicely.

The 235s would've been too skinny with no real height benefit in my opinion. Good choice.

Nothing wrong with some steelies.

I run 17s as my winter set. They're much easier to clean too!

I agree steelies can be a good look. Did you paint them? Or are they available in black?

Another Ford with 265 75 16's on Steelies
Amazing how different wheels change the vibe of the truck I personally like the Ol Skool look
Certainly not everyone's taste but I dig it.
