I always thought of that as a software glitch. My wife's Corsair did it frequently but that thing had quite a few issues with electronics. I haven't had that happen with the Ranger (yet).
It means the battery is at a low voltage. I am on my second battery, and the Auto start stop is taking longer to enable, and if the car sits for more than a day it makes the chime you have a video of. It turns off some functions below a voltage, the normal beep among them apparently.
My second battery isn't even 12 months old. Pathetic.
Mine sounds like that due to the battery voltage dropping. My battery would probably pass the little test they do at the dealerships, but the resting voltage is dropping lower than what the truck likes. It's been going on for months and I keep seeing signs that it's getting worse. The chime sounding wrong happens more frequently. I'm getting a message on my radio display saying some features have been disabled due to low voltage, and now I'm getting messages on my phone saying connectivity with my truck is being interrupted due to low battery.
