Well, mine does show location for both my Mustang and my Ranger tire pressure, oil life and mileage. I do not see where I could enter any maintenance info only schedule maintenance from a dealer.

Just for the update you mentioned, I never received the update file when doing the update so I could not upload it to Ford. The ford.com still shows my truck as needing to do the update... it has been a few months and still has not updated on ford.com to show I have the latest sync update.

Yup, I have done that also... but on the trim I do not think that would be an issue.

Just curious, what do you do when you don't have cell service? Here in Colorado 5 miles from my house in the canyon there is no cell service and all I get is a checkerboard pattern... nothing else.

I had the same problem... it turned out the modem was not activated. I pulled the #9 fuse and then replaced it and the modem started to again show up in the system. I did all the resets and other stuff, and none worked, but came across this #9 fuse in a previous post.

I am guessing like most things that software updates, IOS in this case require hardware features that are not available in in older phone. If you had the app and a working phone, it should not have stopped working... The app when it is no longer supported by the manufacturer (just like many...

When My battery was low, it made that sound also. Used a trickle charger for a few days and all is back to normal.

I did that on a Can-Am that I had... sheared the head off... surprisingly the part that was left in the pan just unscrewed with almost no effort since the head was gone.

Mine was doing that as well... I noticed in the settings that the modem number was not displaying. I pulled fuse number 9, put it back in and the modem came back... then the updates worked.
