Canyon/Colorado twins combined for 11,162 sales, only 594 more than the Ranger. However Ranger was technically the #2 selling mid-size truck in November, since they are considered two separate models.

Different models aside, they are still POS GM products. Frankly, I doubt the Ranger will surpass the Taco in sales, but it most definitely does in other aspects.
Don't even get me started on Rams...

Not this gen, but the next model could, especially if Toyota remains apathetic on updating the Tacoma. It'll come down to who wants it more, and Ford certainly is putting more eggs in the truck basket than Toyota is.

Who knows, maybe in a few years, maybe after the redesign in 2022 it will regain the title of top seller. It was the top seller for many years - it could be again. I think a lot depends on what Toyota ends up doing - as many have said, competition is good for EVERYONE. I think Toyota has kind of been coasting for several years now.

Here is November sales for the rest:

https://www.tfltruck.com/2019/12/to...dgeline-battle-for-2019-holiday-sales-report/

Nov 2019 # Nov 2019/2018 YTD 2019 # YTD 2019/2018 %
Toyota Tacoma 20,727 5.3% 228,074 1.8%
Nissan Frontier 4,932 -21.4% 67,649 -6.2%
Honda Ridgeline 3,297 36.2% 29,577 6.7%

Just like I predicted the rebates would boost Ranger sales.
I thought they would be better though because of the way they were selling here.
I predicted next month Would be down because There are less to choose from now and rebates expired.
They were continued for certain areas and other rebates for other areas.

I can not seem to find the Colorado #'s?

I actually think Toyota sales numbers will rise next year but prices to come down on them.
With a new plant opening up this month in Mexico and expansion in their Texas plant they will flood the market with tacos.
Some of the short comings of the Taco were addressed in the 2020 model too..
I feel prices for the whole segment will drop but I feel the midsized market will expand.
I think Next year the Ranger may make it too #2 and the Colorado drops two #3.
Interesting to see what happens with the new midsized Nissan next year if they can actually bring it too market.

True, the next gen could tip the scale if Toyota continues their indifference but we all know that the sales strategists @ Toyota are watching the Ranger very closely. The Gladiator is in a league of it's own, especially with it's prices.
The Frontier, while a solid and reliable truck is stuck in the last decade.
Indeed, Nissan refreshed the Titan but it seems as though they regard their truck line as an unwanted orphan.

I'm glad I could help their November numbers. With the rebates and dealer discounts in Houston they almost giving them away, just couldn't say no.

Dont be a RAM hater brother, best truck I've ever owner [and at 10 years longest] my son who turns 16 on 12/09 is getting it. It still has two active warranties one with a $0 deductible [Lifetime E&PT] and another with a $100 [Lifetime Max Care]. Better warranty than I got with my Ranger, too bad there is no Mopar mid-size truck to consider.

Those were nice trucks, my biggest gripe was the headlights.
