Man, I’m torn! My OCD prefers the uninterrupted black and not the interruption the body color B-pillars provides. But, perhaps, it’s because so many vehicles have been like that recently?

Either way, good job discovering the ease of this mod.

If they came without the black trim I think most would be complaining and discussing mods to put it on.

I know I would.

Go look around the parking lots at the fading black trim.

Fading of this vinyl makes a vehicle look old, one of those subtle cues.

More importantly be bold and independent do not be afraid, pull that cheap crap off of there and enjoy the paint beneath. This a beautiful truck that does not need superfluous makeup!

I took the black off. If I had the blackout package I probably would have left it on but, since my truck is white with the chrome package I felt like it looked better with it off

Thanks for posting pics. Mine is white and I am on the fence. Small favor, would you mind posting another pic looking at the side straight-on? (like the blue one above your post). Would help my decision :)

Thanks! So that is what mine will look like^^^, hmm. The little black rubber strip at the bottom is throwing it off for me. Going to research rubber paint now

Intentional de-contenting of original design intent. Designers go through great extent to improve visual continuity of DLO (day light opening) by hiding the B pillar. In the end, it's all a personal preference...

Here's a quick photoshop with the bottom rubber stips deleted.

I'm not sure that possible (without a great deal of effort) as Ford and other OEM place attachment clips at the end of the trim. My mom's Fiesta has similar trim and the end clips are failing, allowing the end to lift off the door, exposing slots in the sheet metal. If you were to go ahead and cut the end off the trim, you will need to cap that with something to hide the metal reinforcement strip inside the rubber and also fill the attachment slot (paint).

Thanks for that. Looks better - I will probably go for it now

White plasti-dip.
Good tip, believe it or not I've made it this far in life without using plasti-dip lol
