I was checking out another Ranger over the weekend and got to thinking, I don't think I've seen either of these options available for the '19 Ranger. Wonder if they will be added for 2020.

they are not available in 2019. I'd be amazed if they added cooled seat in 2020, maybe steering wheel.

It's a shame. They really need to step up on adding a few options ..at least in the lariat.

Cooled seats
Moon roof
Power rear window
60/40 fold FLAT rear seat
Dampened tail gate

I'm waiting for a minimum of cooled seats, power rear window and the 60/40 rear seat back before I make a move.

Maybe 2020 or hopefully 2021.

I've been without a heated steering wheel and cooled seats my entire life, but they would be nice on a fully loaded brand new vehicle. Power sliding rear window would also be awesome. I'm actually surprised how much I use that on my current Tacoma.

im guessing the data gets compiled during the design phase on whats important to people and they opt for what the majority rules. when you have too many options, it affects production to a degree that may not be in the best interests initially.
Or you do what toyota is doing and tie more and more things to the trim line and don't even make them options. ford hit the sweet spot on what they included and what they left out, it would be a shame if they went backward on that.

+1 for all of your suggested options plus the seat memory as well.
I probably would not have ordered the moon roof but it does have it's convenience. All the others I would have selected.
My bride has the heated steering wheel and cooling seats o n her '18 Sonata and I use both frequently.

My MKC has a heated steering wheel. When the temp reaches a certain number (maybe 40 and below), the heated seats and heated steering wheel come on automatically with remote starting. Nice feature.

I have a heated steering wheel on my Focus SE. I think Ford dropped the ball not having it on the Ranger.

I’m assuming they left some of these off the first model year on purpose.. here’s to hoping some additional improvements for MY 2020.

You can buy two new Fords for about what one with all the options costs.
Especially if you must cool your butt with the seat or warm your hands on the steering wheel!

Remember when "Fully Equipped" meant Radio, Heater, AND Whitewalls:question:

I had heated and cooled seats and steering wheel heat on the MKC. It doesn't really get all that cold here but the cooled seats were nice. I am happy not to have a moon roof. Never opened them and less chance for leaks from clogged drain tubes.

I think Ford will include them on a newer design........or not!! LOL

What do I miss?
1. Seats automatically going back when the door is opened and memory seats.
2. Damping tailgate *(should be an aftermarket solution soon)
3. 60/40 rear seats that fold flat
4. driver "oh shit" handle

Where I'm from that #4 is called a "Chicken Bar" so by definition it is only for passengers!

I think they are really needed for the back seat on either body.

On the other hand... As a fleet mechanic I often saw broken GM steering columns from drivers using the wheel to hoist themselves into the driver's seat. They could really have used a good sturdy grab handle by any name.
