I worked with this Mormon guy years back. We had another guy on our crew that was a a**hole. One day Dave(mormon) got really ticked at Doug(ahole). Dave says "Doug you're a anal orofice". I lost it???. I said there you go Dave tell him. ???Definitely, I expected a trail of explicitives, at least a holy F***
I haven't heard that verbiage in a while!I worked with this Mormon guy years back. We had another guy on our crew that was a a**hole. One day Dave(mormon) got really ticked at Doug(ahole). Dave says "Doug you're a anal orofice". I lost it???. I said there you go Dave tell him. ???
a... mudslide...?pretty sure his undies suffered from a massive avalanche of a different nature
Hi N,He saved the camera and lived through it or the rescuers uploaded the recording after things melted out. Did get the honey shot. He definitely needed clean underwear at least the barrel from the st Bernards who dug him out.
You got me. Honestly didn't follow the mt St Helens so closely to remember that. Guess the st Bernards could have posted that video. You are right, we don't know for sure the story behind this one.Hi N,
Ever see the photos of the guy that photographed Mt. St. Helen when it blew. He was killed but snapped photos until the end. They found his body and camera and developed the film...back in the day...
Best,
Phil

Thanks for posting that. Figured out the 'why' on lack of memory... At that time I was in my last week of high school with graduation in 2 weeks. Can I have a mulligan on that one.

If you haven't seen the area, it is well worth the trip. 40+ years later, some areas still look almost like the day after the eruption. It was pretty terrifying to see. I was in high school when it blew and remember the days of "shoveling ash" off the driveway. We didn't get a ton of it - I think the worst was an inch or so, but some places got 4-6" of the stuff - it isn't like snow - it doesn't melt and it is HEAVY.Hi N,
