I went and traded my 2017 Suzuki V-Strom 650 for a 2026 Triumph Tiger Sport 800 Tour. Had a lot of good times on the 'Strom, great all-round bike. But lately I found myself yearning for the power and all day ride ability of the ZX11 I had before. I wanted to get back to more of the 2-5-day trips that I used to do- although now I leave the tent at home and use my IHG points. I turn 77 this year and I am getting to the bottom of my bucket list and wanted a bike that was more roadworthy and has adjustable suspension. and heated grips. And cruise control. Bikes have come along ways since my 1976 Honda CB 500 Four. I rode that bike from WI to ME and back and tented all but 4 nights.
One of my life goals is to ride a motorcycle down our 2-block main street on my hundredth birthday. I may have to be poured into a sidecar, but that's the goal, so until then I have to keep in practice.

Nice Triumph Chris and it should be fun (and comfortable) touring with it! I've always wanted to get another bike especially being out here in AZ as there's so many nice places to ride to. But the way people are now so distracted on their phones I figure I'll just rent one every once in a while when I get the itch.

I always had crotch rockets Ninja 750, ZX-7, ZX-11, CB900-RR and my last one was a GSXR-1000 but would love a nice cruiser/touring bike now to take it slower and enjoy the scenery. Have fun on your travels and make sure to take and post plenty of pictures. Stay safe!!

Nice, congrats been a triumph fan for a while, my last was a 95 trophy 1200 still miss that bike there was just something about it. Still have my 17 FZ10 in the garage along with my 05 vtx 1300 bagger. Just can't part with them. But I spend way more time driving the vette vert instead of riding now days.
Good luck with the new steed.

Beautiful Tiger, Doc. There is an informal event every Fathers' Day on Nicolett Island in Mpls, MN put on by the Blind Lizards Motorcycle Club. This is their one and only meeting of the year, and a great place to meet up and ogle bikes from all eras, and enjoy some pretty decent chili.
