I'm Chris from Cape Cod and this is my new to me 2021 Ranger Lariat, FX4, tow, 501A, Securicode, slush mats, factory hard tonneau. I needed to get out of my VW GTI and into a truck, but I wasn't giving up LED lighting, heated leather seats, SXM, and Android Auto. This one is kind of a unicorn. I bought it from a dealer in Long Island. It was a one owner, 3 year lease return, where the leasee was the dealer's sales manager. All maintenance was done on time. Everything was included, like both keys, manuals, Securicode key card, etc. 25K miles, $36K out the door. I rented a car on the Cape, drove it to Bridgeport CT, took the ferry, and drove to the dealership, then turned around and went the same way home. Clean, low mileage trucks like this are like houses around here. They sell in a day or two. You gotta move fast and be willing to be flexible. I bought it sight unseen with a return guarantee. Needless to say, it's not going back.

I've been a VAG guy pretty much my whole life although I did own a 1999 Ranger SuperCab 4.0L 5 speed. Great truck, another unicorn. VAG has a diagnostic/modification system called VAGCOM that is a lot like Forscan, so I'm very familiar and comfortable with hex programming and software mods in general. I'm going through the Forscan threads to narrow down what I'd like to do.

See you on the forums.

Brett here from Hudson Valley NY, just picked up a 22 XLT in Forged Green. Owned a 2019 F150, traded it for a 24 outback wilderness and needless to say huge mistake which led me to the ranger. Only thing I didn’t like was the soft brakes on the ranger which has now been fixed with the FORScan trick!
Would like to upgrade to LED headlights at some point, maybe someone can lead me to anyone that gets a discount on Lariat OEM? Or selling a pair? Either way, either way works

Someone with a Silver 2022 Ranger Crew cab 2WD with AVS stick-on window visors, and AVS "Low profile" stick on hood protector and gator roll-up style tonneau cover and dash designs dashcover will show up eventually.

I feel it.

The MKIV R32 was by all respects the BEST VW hatchback ever made. Yes, it was heavy. Yes, it got crappy gas mileage. But what a blast to drive.

I've owned seven VW's and three GTIs, including an '83 MK1, a 2009 MKV, and this is the 2018 MK7.5 Autobahn that I am selling to help pay for the Ranger. The list of mods is way too long for a Ford forum. Briefly, it's EQT Stage 1 ECU and TCU, and will embarrass much more powerful cars that laugh at it.

Got a pic of my 2019 Ranger at my work, with some of our work trucks in the back ground. The work trucks are a couple short bed Army 5 tons with a long bed also, and can't forget the little 10 ton wrecker. It's nice to know that if you get in too deep the HEMTT wrecker is there to get you out.

Hello, I am Stephen, just got my 2019, hot pepper red Ranger XLT, super Crew 4x4. So far it's great, it replaced my old F150 super Crew. No pics yet but will get some soon.
Welcome Stephen - there’s no rush for the pics of your 2019 but please hurry up and post some pics of your ‘68 Bronco!

I forget which color the insert is on the Forged Green, I know most Splashes got a yellowish color.
The Forged Green special edition Splash got a red front grille because in Ranger land; color codes go out the window with the extra tie-downs.

I realize the final year got color-matched green inserts so there's actually two variants out there. It's possible Tremor package trucks with red trim overruled the green trim but I realize I'm seeing green splash trucks out there with green grilles as well!

Hi everyone, my name is Ricky and I've got a 2019 Ranger XLT. Other than the fan harness issue, I love this truck and have plans to lower it as the stock height is kinda high imo

Welcome Chris.
Very similar to my Ranger ... love Cactus Grey. I've got a '23 XLT in the same color with the FX4 package.
I'm pretty familiar with the market here. Like you said, had to move quick to even get it.
