Nice color! ?New member here near San Francisco. Just replaced my 255k Nissan Frontier work truck with a 2022 Lariat FX4 in cactus grey with blackout. My first Ford and my first automatic. It's a huge adjustment, all the bells and whistles. Other than the toaster-sized key fob, the only glaring issue is the lack of a track system for the bed. Compared to my Nissan, this is a plush car with a bed. I know it's very capable, but in terms of daily features, there's way more in the cab than I need and less in the box. Also puzzled by 18" wheels on an offroad package. Traditionally you get smaller rims and bigger tires for the cushion and grip. Odd to go the more street-oriented direction. Maybe just a quirky special order by the original owner. Also, the 1981 door button pad is hilarious.
Pulled the trigger on the purchase because the 2024 is growing too large for my needs and they made it look like the down-market Maverick. That was a bad design choice. 2022 has the same drivetrain and better looks in a more compact package. Easy.
Enjoying it so far and looking forward to working out the cargo puzzle for work and mountain bikes.
