James on the East Coast here...
I had a 2003 Tundra SR5 8 foot bed 4x4 short cab that I loved...was in a jam last year with 7K worth of work plus..traded it for a Tacoma OR Double Cab 6ft bed. Year or so later was tired of the power train and tranny..otherwise a fantastic truck that I had a lot of fun owning. Had the Ranger been available at the time I needed to let go of the Tundra, it would have been what I ended up with. So a year later she is in my driveway, picked her up on 9/2/2019.

Love it for so many diff. reasons already...road manners on and off pavement, the interior is excellent. The tech blows away what I had in the Tacoma OR with Tech PKG,, FordPass is just awesome. Getting about 400 miles to a tank with plenty of low end grunt!

We just got our Ranger Lariat Ignot Silver (501A, Sport package) on Labor day.
This is my first truck ever and really love driving it. I went to trade in my Rogue for Edge but eneded up with Ranger after driving it for the weekend. My wife n kids love it.
I am really glad that we have a dedicate forum here and am really impressed the way its organized and categorized . Kudos to the team...

Bob from Louisville, KY. Just traded in my 17 year old Ranger Supercab 4X4 flareside for a 2019 XLT Sport Supercab. I've owned 5 or 6 Rangers since 1983, Kept the 2002 the longest and was chopping at the bit to get a new one. Should be delivered next week.

I just traded in my 2001 Ranger, the Red Dragon, for an FX4 Lariat and I’m loving the truck.

I’d owned 2 older Rangers, so I was very excited to see them return. When the time came to start looking for a new vehicle, we headed straight to Ford and I couldn’t believe how great the truck was. Didn’t even bother driving a Tacoma or Chevy...my mind was made up.

Had her for 3 weeks and now she’s got a Linex bed liner, I’ve got a Leer 180 shell on order and the windows get tinted on Wednesday. She’s gonna be a great mountain bike hauler...we’ll have no problem getting to those backwoods trailheads now

Hey new guy here! Back in a Ranger! Traded in a 2005 F250 4x4 diesel and picked up this Lariat FX4, 501a, tow, sport package and am loving it! This is my 3rd Ranger all bought new, previously had a 1997 XLT 4x4 and a 2002 XLT 2x4. This new Ranger is night and day to the old ones! Also my son just turned 16 and bought a 2001 XLT 2x4 for him, that brought back some good old memories! Now two in the family!
